Requital comes with one message to convey to the rotting world... repent in Christ before it is too late! The creation of Holy Blood’s founder, lead vocalist, and guitarist, Fedor Buzilevich, Requital is an abyssal, soul-consuming death metal side project that he literally unleashed simultaneously in 2005 on Bombworks Records with Holy Blood’s sophomore release “Waves are Dancing” and the awesome “The Wanderer”. Fury and hellish proclamation of torment and judgment are the thesis of what Fedor melts your heart with from the hellish first song until the last. Fire-scorched Ukrainian tongue ripples out in the fierce guitar and drum blasts. By the end of the album you will be crawling off of the floor, breathless, and well-overheated! In the album, Fedor gives credit to Crimson Thorn, Antidemon, Sympathy, Encryptor, Clemency, Oblation, Acoustic Torment, and Mortification for their musical influences. In this, the original 8 songs from Requital were extended to ten with a cover of one Holy Blood song “Kill” and one song from Mortification’s album “Envision Evangelene” called “Northern Storm”. Additionally, “Retribution for Sin” is equivalent to the likes of Suffocation, Nile, Discern, and elements of Behemoth. These Russian versions are very rare and have never been stocked with us before, so get a copy while you can! We have hardly any left!
