Here it finally is! This is the fifth and final release. We are pleased to bring you the super rare original copies of this fantastically raw, unabated underground black metal project from The Netherlands. Grim, minimalistic, harsh, melancholic, sorrowful, sometimes experimental in nature, and perfect for fans of old school black metal origins like Burzum, Darkthrone, Mayhem, and Blut Aus Nord. More akin to Arch of Thorns, Verdelger, Bloedoffer, and Christian artists like Fire Throne and Elgibbor, Duister Maanlicht provides more of a positive message. At the same time, the intent of the Duister Maanlicht project was to poke jabs at the extreme metal world, its philosophies, and at times to present a Christian message in the most intense fashions.
We understand that this is not considered a Christian release in its entirety. Duister Maanlicht consisted of Christians who not only ran the SneeuwStorm Produkties label from around 2000-2005, but also performed in the musical projects of Bloedoffer, Verdelger, and several others on the label. In the longrun, a very memorable piece of Christian and secular metal history was created, later to become a cult favorite (in a good way) of many extreme underground followers, fans, and friends.
